Delete An Area Menu



The delete option is similar to the modify area option. When the "delete area" button is clicked teh first configured area will appear.



1. You may toggle the "Area ID" button until you reach the area that is going to be deleted.

2. Once you are sure of the area you are going to delete click the "OK" button.

3. A small box will appear asking: "Deleted area will be removed from all user records--continue?"



4. Click the "OK" button to accept and continue, or click the "cancel" button to refuse the deletion.

5. If you click the "cancel" button another gray box will appear stating: "Delete area Cancelled". Click the "OK" button in this box and the area will stay the same and you will return to the configure Areas Menu.



6. If you click the "OK" button another gray box will appear stating: "deleted area: #". The number indicates the number chosen with the Area ID.



7. Click the "OK" button in this box and your deletion transaction will be acceptedd by your ACAS system.
NOTE: By deleting an area all badge readers associated with that area will now be considerd available to configured into an available area. It is important to remember taht a badge reader MUST be in a CONFIGURED AREA to function properly.
