Modify An Area Menu
By clicking the "Modify Area" button the same screen will appear as with the add area option. Now the Area ID will indicate the first area configured in your ACAS system.
1. You may toggle the "Area ID" button until you reach the area that is to be modified. Badge Readers that are associated with the chosen area will be indicated by the tan colored box. To modify an area you may change the name of the area, add an available configured badge reader, or remove a badge reader from the area.
2. To add or remove badge readers press on the badge reader box to toggle the colors from tan to green, or green to tan. Remember tan shows the badge reader is in the area, and green indicates an available badge reader.
3. Once you are satisfied with the modification click the 'OK" button.
4. Now a small gray box will appear stating: "modified area: #" where the number indicates the number chosen with the Area ID.
5. Press the "OK" button and your modification transaction will be entered into your ACAS system.
