Add Area Menu



When adding a new area the Area ID will bring up the next available area to be configured.



1. You may choose this area or click the "Area ID" button to go to the next available area. The numbers wil toggle until they make a complete cycle.

2. Once you've chosen the Area ID number, click on the Area Desc. field and type in the name you want for this area. Again it's up to you what you what to label this area.

3. Now you add badge readers to your new area. Click any green colored box or boxes with legible numbers to add badge readers to the area. Once you've clicked the box or boxes they will turn tan in color. Again a tan colored box indicates the badge reader is configured into this area.

4. Now you're ready to accept this new area. Press the "OK" button, a small gray box will appear stating: "added area: #", where number indicates the number chosen with the Area ID.



5. Click the "OK" button and the area will be configured into your ACAS system.
---NOTE: Remember that a badge reader must be configured to be added to any area. Also you may configure an area without any badge readers configured into it. In a sense, and empty area.
