System Parameters Menu



This area should be set up when your ACAS system is installed. You should not have to worry about this after initial set up is performed. ( Unless you change the system.) However, this is a brief explanation of what each option offers.

--- Escort Option - Will ask the system if during an escort situation, does the user being escorted need to be in the database. Your options will be a YES or NO. Usually this option will be in the NO mode.

--- Host Option - Will ask the system if you as the system administrator need to log into the system as the host. Again your options are YES or NO. Uwually you want o protect yourself as much as possible, select he YES mode.

--- I/O Card Type - Will ask the system what type of interface card you system has. It will either be a Rocket Port Card, Serial Port, or Serial Hub.

--- I/O Port Count - Will coincide with the card selected. Your number options are 4, 8, 16, or 32. These numbers indicate the number of ports on your interface. Again should you have a problem or question with these options please contact us at LSS.
